In the world of Metal Detectorists in the UK, no one has a higher public profile than ‘Digger Dawn’. With a You Tube fan base of 60,000 followers and 4.5million ‘views’ to date, Digger Dawn is hard to beat. Which is why Hixon Millennium Green Trust is thrilled that Dawn has agreed to share her knowledge and give Metal Detecting master classes at Hixon Village Fete.

After learning the basics from Dawn, there is a chance for anyone to see how many metal items they can detect and recover. The one who collects the most by the end of the day wins a star prize. Where else could you get the chance to do this?
