King Charles III Coronation Day Horse Racing evening at Hixon Millennium Green Saturday 6th May 2023. First Race at 6pm
There will be eight races, with eight horses in each race.
Many thanks to all who have sponsored a race (see below).
But it is still not too late be a sponsor.
Seven of the eight horses in each race have already been given a name.
However, you can sponsor horse number 8 on the night and “give the horse a name” for a minimum donation of £10.

Free event for the whole community
Hixon Millennium Green Trust is hosting an all-day programme of FREE to participate events to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6th May 2023.
The day begins in Hixon Memorial Hall, where everyone is invited to come together to watch the live television broadcast of the Coronation on a big screen. Tea/coffee and cakes will be available.
In the early afternoon, we move outside on to Hixon Millennium Green for a Coronation-inspired garden party and village fete games for all to take part in. Live music sessions will intersperse throughout the afternoon to entertain guests.
At 6pm, it will be time to take part in the “Sport of Kings”…..horse racing on the big screen! Eight races featuring eight horses in each race. Place your bets and roar on your chosen steed.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: You can sponsor a race, whether as a business or individual, for just £50. Your name (and logo if required) will be on the printed programmes and on the big screen. A great way to promote your business and show your support for the local community.
